Meet Daryl
Daryl Davis, II is a proud father and dedicated community leader who has spent his life serving others. A lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Daryl was raised in this community and is now raising two amazing kids—Taylor and Gavin—alongside his partner, Devan Allen, a strong woman of faith who shares his commitment to family, community, and public service.
Daryl currently serves as Board President for Crowley ISD, where he’s helped elevate student voice, raise staff pay, and lead the passage of a $1.04 billion bond to invest in local schools. He also serves as Executive Pastor at Inspiring Temple of Praise and as Vice President of Workforce & Career Development at UpSpire—a nonprofit helping people overcome barriers to employment.
From neighborhood schools to economic opportunity, Daryl has spent his life working to build a stronger, more just, and more vibrant Fort Worth. He has dedicated his career to addressing the everyday challenges working-class families face—fighting for access to education, good jobs, and stable communities where everyone can thrive. Grounded in faith and shaped by his own lived experience, Daryl believes real leadership is built on trust, shared responsibility, and a deep commitment to the people he serves.

Daryl is an adventurist who enjoys hiking, skydiving, roller coasters, and zip-lining, and was also a drum major in high school.
